**Description**
We are now seeking a teacher for after-school care/after-school educator at Gateskolan.
The school accommodates students from preschool class up to grade 6 and is centrally located in Arvika. Gateskolan has around 360 students, of which 180 children are enrolled in after-school care. The after-school activities are divided into three departments: Labolina and Laban for preschool class up to grade 3, and Lianen for grades 4-6. About 60 staff members work at the school with the students' best interests in mind.
**Responsibilities**
As a teacher in after-school care/after-school educator, you will be responsible for planning and executing the teaching in after-school care together with colleagues. The teaching should stimulate the students' development and learning while providing them with a meaningful leisure time. In addition to your role in after-school care, you will also collaborate during school hours with classroom teachers, both through your own teaching and as support in regular instruction.
**Qualifications**
You are a qualified teacher in after-school care/after-school educator with certification. You have experience working with children and youth, and it is an advantage if you have worked and had primary responsibility for after-school activities. As a person, you are flexible, structured, solution-focused, and have a strong commitment to children's learning and development. You are clear in your leadership and possess a good ability to build relationships. Creating positive interactions with students, guardians, and colleagues is important to us and to you. We work closely together in our teams and are looking for someone with strong collaborative skills.
