We are now seeking a Recreation Instructor for Funäsdalen Recreation Center, located adjacent to Funäsdalen School with proximity to nature, ski trails, and ski slopes that significantly influence the activities. The Recreation Center, with its compensatory mission, is a resource and component of students' school day, during both lesson time and breaks. This is a permanent position with a probationary period. Job Responsibilities
The Recreation Instructor position involves planning, implementing, and evaluating activities within the Recreation Center together with colleagues. Work may also occur in other parts of the school, such as a classroom resource during school hours.
You view collegial learning as a prerequisite for student development and look forward to working closely in a team, toward set goals, with students as the focus.
Qualifications
We seek a licensed Recreation Instructor familiar with current governing documents. You have experience and knowledge of how to best contribute to students' increased understanding through an individualized approach. We value skills such as ability to collaborate, communicate, and solve problems. Great importance is placed on personal suitability.
A criminal record check is a prerequisite for this position.
