Krokslättsskolan is a relatively small school with approximately 280 students distributed across grades F-5 and is geographically located right next to Safjället. Many of our students are also enrolled in our after-school programs. At Krokslättsskolan, we focus on teaching and student learning as well as their well-being and social and emotional development. The proximity to Safjället and its nature invites play and opportunities for outdoor education.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As an after-school teacher, you and your colleagues are responsible for, driving, and developing after-school activities. In your role as an after-school teacher, you are part of school collaboration, teaching in the lower grades during school hours. Together with your colleagues, you work in a team with shared responsibility for student learning.
In addition to knowledge in various school subjects, students should also have opportunities to develop self-esteem, identity, interaction, and various social skills throughout the school day. The after-school program plays a significant role in this context, with the goal of providing a meaningful leisure time for all students.
Job satisfaction, high expectations, and clear goals are obvious starting points for us.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for a certified after-school teacher.
You are confident in your role and create good conditions for student learning and development throughout the day. To be a suitable after-school teacher with us, it is important that you have a strong commitment to student learning, co-creation, and openness to innovation. You are not averse to working in different learning environments where outdoor education is a key part. As a person, you are positive, driven, and have good communication skills and the ability to see the big picture. You enjoy working in an environment that demands high levels of flexibility, initiative, and social competence.
As an after-school teacher, you are relational and have a positive approach to students, as well as clear leadership. Great importance will be placed on good collaboration skills and personal suitability.
