Kunskapsskolan Nacka is growing and is looking for more staff
Kunskapsskolan Nacka is expanding, and starting in the fall of 2025, we will be a K-9 school. Would you like to be part of developing our new school? Then we have the job for you! We are seeking one or two certified teachers who can teach at the middle and high school levels in the subjects where we need reinforcement. These are mathematics, Swedish, English, and science, possibly in combination with a practical subject.
At Kunskapsskolan, we have a pedagogy that is personally tailored and based on each individual. Through our working method, we create close relationships between staff and students, which provides the conditions for each student to achieve more than they believe is possible. In an environment where students can be themselves and receive the right support and challenges, we create a school where both students and staff thrive and develop.
To ensure that each student reaches their full potential, we need skilled teachers with a strong commitment to the students. At Kunskapsskolan, we always place the individual at the center and are therefore looking for someone who actively works to help their students succeed. In addition to being a subject teacher, you will also serve as a personal mentor for about twenty students, and you will have an individual mentoring conversation with each of your students every week. You will help them plan and set goals for their studies and follow up on those goals together with both the students and their guardians.
As a staff member at Kunskapsskolan, you are never alone with challenges and questions. We collaborate to plan our work in teams and subject groups. There is a high level of openness among staff, and we share a common responsibility for all students to succeed.
Kunskapsskolan Nacka is a primary school for grades K-9 and currently has about 350 students. The school started in 2001 and has satisfied staff, students, and guardians. The school is located in Finntorp in Nacka, near Sickla and Nacka Forum, with good transport connections from Slussen and Värmdö.
Qualifications
We are looking for at least one qualified teacher who is well-versed in LGR-22 and formative assessment.
We prefer that you have several years of experience in teaching and mentorship. We want you to be able to collaborate easily with colleagues, students, and guardians, and to be solution-focused and structured.
We place great value on your engagement, pedagogical competence, and ability to build relationships. We want you to be a stable and secure person who can create trust with the students and has an interest in teaching within our pedagogical model.
Position Details
The position is a permanent full-time role starting in the spring semester of 2026.
