At Gärdsåsskolan, approximately 300 students attend middle and high school levels. To achieve high goal attainment and continuously develop the school's operations, our educators have a desire to further their education and stay updated with the latest research. Regarding digitalization, our educators work with this in various ways. Students at the school have access to individual Chromebooks and work with Gleerups digital educational materials. We work in teams with a focus on the student and their knowledge development. We have high expectations for our students and everyone working at the school.

Job Responsibilities
We are now seeking a licensed teacher qualified to teach English for grades 7-9. The position includes lesson planning, teaching, and assessment. The role also includes mentorship, and you are expected to maintain good communication with students, colleagues, and guardians.
This is a 100% one-year temporary position.
Qualifications
We are looking for a licensed teacher qualified to teach grades 7-9 with English as a subject area. The role also requires good Swedish language skills in speech and writing, familiarity with curriculum documents, and good computer skills.

You can make independent decisions within the scope of your assignment. You can work together with others to complete tasks and achieve goals. For newly graduated teachers, you will be part of the Primary School Administration's Teacher Academy introduction for new graduates. This introduction provides a network with other new graduates and targeted activities during your first year as a teacher.
