We offer meaningful, stimulating, and important pedagogical work at our schools. Hällsboskolan Kungsholmen in Stockholm welcomes students with severe language disorders from grade 2 through grade 10. Our instruction focuses on language and communication. The goal is for students to have the conditions to reach knowledge objectives, be participative and active in various social contexts, and develop as individuals. We offer housing for students who cannot commute daily to school. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Hällsboskolan Kungsholmen is growing, and we are now seeking a teacher qualified to teach English for middle school. Then you are one of the teachers we need in our organization. At Hällsboskolan, we work together and closely collaborate in grade-level teams led by team leaders. We have a cross-disciplinary thematic approach that we believe will benefit our students' knowledge development. At Hällsboskolan, all instruction is based on special school regulations and primary or special school curriculum. Instruction, environment, and communication are adapted to each student's needs. As a teacher with us, you will work on pedagogical mapping, documentation, learning environment adaptation, follow-up, and evaluation. Working with us requires close collaboration with students' guardians, colleagues, and external actors important to students' health and development. You will also have support from a special education teacher, IT pedagogue, counselor, psychologist, school nurse, and speech therapist. We are now seeking someone who both wants and can contribute to this journey. The position is a 50% temporary position from 260107 (or by agreement) until 260612. QUALIFICATIONS We are seeking someone who: • Has a teaching certification qualifying to teach English • Has teaching experience • Has competence and experience teaching students with NPF (Neuropsychiatric Functional Disorders) It is meritorious if you: • Have experience working with students with severe language disorders • Have good knowledge and competence in NPF areas We prefer candidates who: • Work well in teams and can develop new contacts and create good relationships • Can work independently and in groups • Maintain good structure and order in their work approach • Communicate well verbally and in writing in Swedish, as this is crucial for student instruction We place great importance on personal qualities. OTHER A 6-month probationary period will be applied. A criminal record extract must be presented before employment.
