Kungshögsskolan is an F-9 school with after-school activities and adapted primary school operations. There are approximately 600 students and 120 staff members. Our facilities are newly built, purposefully designed to provide good basic conditions for a safe and pleasant environment.
The school has several work teams where activities are planned, implemented, evaluated, and developed towards curriculum goals. With the help of our lead teachers, collegial learning is conducted based on various development areas.
We are looking for candidates with a strong interest in the possibilities of IT technology in teaching and knowledge of how computers and iPads can be used as tools in pedagogical activities.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking someone who wants to make a difference every day.
Kungshögsskolan is looking for an engaged and confident teacher for our adapted primary school for grades 1-3. Here, you will work in an environment where each student's needs are at the center, and collaboration and pedagogical development are natural parts of everyday life.
As a teacher, you are responsible for planning and conducting instruction based on the curriculum for adapted primary school, focusing on individual student needs and interests. You will work closely with a competent team of teaching assistants and other support staff to create a comprehensive school day for students. The position includes teaching subjects and/or subject areas and mentoring a small number of students. You will adapt learning environments and materials, promote social interaction, and document student development. Regular contact with guardians is a natural part of the work.

QUALIFICATIONS
We are seeking candidates who have:
• Pedagogical education with qualification to teach in adapted primary school
• Experience working with students with disabilities
• Good collaboration skills and a solution-oriented approach
• Knowledge of clarifying pedagogy and low-arousal approach is meritorious
Desirable for the position: Basic education as a licensed preschool teacher, leisure-time pedagogue/leisure-time center teacher, or teacher, as well as special education with a focus on intellectual disabilities.
Experience working with students with intellectual disabilities, language disorders, and students on the autism spectrum is desirable.
Good collaboration skills and a solution-oriented approach.
Position requirements include basic education as mentioned above and/or experience teaching in adapted primary school.
