We are seeking Math and Science Teachers for Hagaskolan, Varberg Municipality
Would you like to help continue developing Hagaskolan into Varberg's best school? Are you a skilled, relational pedagogue who is confident in your subject expertise in mathematics and science subjects? Do you have the ability to see both the individual and the group as a whole? Hagaskolan is a preschool-9th grade school with approximately 450 students from around the world and 65 committed employees. Together, we develop and refine our work and see strong progression in student learning.
Our development work is based on language and knowledge-developing approaches, which make teaching comprehensible and meaningful for students. We have a strong connection to research about what makes schools successful and work very systematically. During the 2025/2026 academic year, our theme is "The Whole School Reads" - focusing on strengthening reading skills across all subjects.
We have a well-functioning student health work, where the Student Health Team and work teams collaborate closely to provide each student with the right support. Our vision is to be a school for everyone, where each student is met according to their individual needs and conditions. With us, teaching is comprehensible, students feel safe and involved in their learning - and have the opportunity to influence their schooling.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Now you have the chance to become part of a wonderful and engaged context where we together develop a school at the forefront.
You will be part of an 8th-grade work team, where you will be a mentor for 10-15 students. You will teach mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, and technology.
We are seeking someone who is relational, curious, and passionate about developing their teaching. You have a great love for your students and want to make a difference in their learning - every day.

QUALIFICATIONS
We are seeking someone who:
• Is a licensed teacher in mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, and technology.
• Has a clear and conscious leadership that creates safety in the classroom.
• Has knowledge and experience with neurodevelopmental students and is driven to see students succeed and develop.
• Has good collaboration skills and wants to contribute to the school's development together with colleagues and management.
• Sees collegial learning, joint planning, and joint assessment as a natural part of the profession.

• Curiosity, humor, and the ability to be open.
• Visions and ideas that promote creative and inclusive learning environments.
