The school is located next to rolling fields in the community of Väröbacka, between Kungsbacka and Varberg. JOB DESCRIPTION We are now looking for an engaged leisure teacher. We are a great team at Väröbacka School, and perhaps you are the one we are looking for? By planning, implementing, and following up on your varied teaching, you provide students with the opportunity to develop both socially and academically. You work to strengthen their creativity, curiosity, and self-esteem through play, creativity, and movement. Together with your colleagues, you plan and follow up on the leisure center activities based on your choices of pedagogical and didactic strategies and methods, tailored to the students' needs and circumstances. You meet each student in their knowledge progression and contribute to developing learning environments that encourage students' learning, participation, and influence. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who has a teaching license with authorization for teaching in leisure centers. With a holistic view of learning and teaching, you see the opportunities in supporting students' development throughout the school day and create a coherent connection between school and leisure center. As a leisure teacher, you are engaged and have a formative approach with the ability to create motivating and activating teaching. Your teaching is based on proven experience and scientific foundations with an exploratory approach. You thrive in collaboration with colleagues and actively contribute to developing the organization by planning and following up on teaching together. You have a good structure in your work and can adapt teaching based on students' needs and the school's goals.
