Lindbergs School is a rural school located north of Varberg, about a 15-minute drive from the city center. Here, students have the opportunity to spend their primary school years in a peaceful environment characterized by safety, from preschool class up to grade 9. The school has approximately 400 students, and 150 students begin and end their school day at the after-school program. This spring, the after-school program has initiated a process to create natural interactions across grade boundaries, allowing students to support each other in various learning activities. - With us, you will help develop the after-school program into a place where we want all students to have the opportunity to grow in their learning, based on their interests and abilities, while also experiencing the positive impact of good social relationships. - We take pride in the values work that students practice during their school day, which provides them with tools to learn what it means to grow as individuals, both independently and together. - We place extra emphasis on ensuring that students feel safe and seen throughout their school day. - It is important for us to have the courage to dare together with the students, as we see this as a prerequisite for all learning. We are now embarking on a knowledge journey to explore which educational elements we want to characterize Lindbergs after-school program. You now have the opportunity to influence and create this together with us! We are in need of two after-school teachers, one with an employment rate of 80% and one position with an employment rate of 50%. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES The role primarily involves work in the after-school program, but substitute work in the school activities may also occur as needed, including opening and closing the after-school program. During school hours, you will serve as a resource in the school activities, as part of the workday. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who has a teaching certificate with qualifications for teaching in after-school programs. With a holistic view of learning and teaching, you see the opportunities to support students' development throughout the school day and create a cohesive thread between school and after-school program. You thrive in collaboration with colleagues and actively contribute to developing the operations. OTHER Varbergs Municipality has a political decision regarding the desired employment rate.
