About Hovet
Hovet is a parent cooperative preschool and after-school program operated as a non-profit association. This means that parents have a significant opportunity to influence and a responsibility to actively participate in both the preschool's and the association's work. We have been operational since 1989 and offer a safe and stimulating environment for children. Our operations are funded through municipal grants and low monthly fees from parents. Hovet is located approximately 8 kilometers from Vadstena, and we have six educators and one chef on staff. Currently, we have 22 preschool children and 12 after-school children enrolled. With a high staff-to-child ratio and small groups, we can provide individualized and engaging teaching. We work on a project basis based on the children's interests and have the unique opportunity to follow them from their introduction as preschoolers until they finish their time in after-school care.
Your Responsibilities
Do you want to take responsibility for a small after-school group and be part of a family-oriented operation? As an after-school educator with us, you will be responsible for a group of children aged 6-12 years. You will plan, reflect, and implement teaching in accordance with the Education Act and Lgr22, which encompasses primary school, preschool class, and after-school care. You will be part of Hovet's work team and will also work with preschool children for certain hours each week. Working hours are scheduled for afternoons when after-school children arrive by bus from school in Vadstena. You will participate in our systematic quality work, planning and evaluation days, staff meetings, and professional development. Since Hovet is a small operation where parents are active through, among other things, parent service, we create a family atmosphere where everyone strives for the best for Hovet.
