Our after-school center is now housed at Centralskolan in Tvååker, where younger children (preschool and first grade) also have their instruction. Approximately 20 staff work together at Centralskolan - preschool and primary school teachers, after-school educators, catering and cleaning staff, and teaching assistants. Nearly ten of them work in the after-school center's three departments. We have a lovely outdoor environment with large grass and asphalt areas, close to playgrounds and green spaces. Together, we collaborate to continuously develop and improve our operations with the goal that all children should thrive and grow. Of course, we also want parents to feel safe leaving their children at our after-school center! JOB RESPONSIBILITIES You will work at our after-school center where staff have various assignments. The core task is afternoon after-school care, open between 1:15 PM-6:15 PM. You will work calmly and systematically with low-affective approach and maintain a positive and inclusive attitude towards students, colleagues, and parents. Motivating and inspiring students is your primary drive. Together with your colleagues, you will shape relational leadership where teaching quality is the focus. We create the best possible learning environment. Along with your colleagues, you will plan and follow up on after-school activities based on your chosen pedagogical and didactic strategies and methods, adapted to students' needs and conditions. You will meet each student in their knowledge progression and contribute to developing learning environments that encourage student learning, participation, and influence. The position is 80% and time-limited from 01/07/2026 to 06/30/2026. QUALIFICATIONS We are seeking candidates with a teaching license authorized for after-school instruction. With a holistic view of learning and teaching, you see opportunities to support student development throughout the school day and create a consistent thread between school and after-school center. Additional education/relevant knowledge about neuropsychiatric functional variations (NPF) is meritorious. We place great importance on personal suitability for the work.
