Our after-school program is now housed at Centralskolan in Tvååker, where younger children (preschool and first grade) also have their instruction. Approximately 20 staff members work together at Centralskolan - preschool and primary school teachers, after-school educators, catering and cleaning staff, and teaching assistants. Nearly ten of them work across the three after-school program departments. We have a wonderful outdoor environment with large grass and asphalt areas, close to playgrounds and green spaces. Together, we collaborate to continuously develop and improve our operations with the goal that all children should feel comfortable and grow. We naturally also want parents to feel secure when leaving their children at our after-school program! JOB RESPONSIBILITIES You will work at our after-school program where staff have various assignments. The core task is afternoon after-school care, open between 1:00 PM-6:15 PM. You will work calmly and systematically with low-affective approach and maintain a positive and inclusive attitude towards students, colleagues, and parents. Motivating and inspiring students is your greatest driving force. Together with your colleagues, you will shape relational leadership where the quality of instruction is in focus. We create the best possible learning environment. Together with your colleagues, you will plan and follow up the after-school program activities based on your chosen pedagogical and didactic strategies and methods, adapted to students' needs and conditions. You will meet each student in their knowledge progression and contribute to developing learning environments that encourage student learning, participation, and influence. The position is 100% and time-limited from November 17, 2025 - December 19, 2025 QUALIFICATIONS We are seeking candidates with teaching certification with qualification for after-school program instruction. With a holistic view of learning and teaching, you see opportunities to support student development throughout the school day and create a coherent thread between school and after-school program. Additional merit will be given to candidates with education/relevant knowledge and experience working with children with diabetes. We place great importance on personal suitability for the work.
