Welcome to Olofström! We are now seeking a Teacher for Grades F-6 at Brännaregårdsskolan, our elementary school with after-school care located in northern central Olofström. Brännaregårdsskolan is situated in a fantastic environment, nestled in a beech forest in a picturesque area. Proximity to nature is a natural part of the schoolyard, stimulating creativity among stones, trees, and bushes. Approximately 395 students attend the school, with around 50 staff members. At Brännaregårdsskolan, staff work in grade-level teams, where educators teach based on qualifications and interests. This creates opportunities to increase student achievement through collaboration and joint assessment. By leveraging each other's competencies, we become more flexible and can help students progress in their learning. Everyone should feel comfortable, safe, and experience job satisfaction here. TEAMWORK is characterized by a WE-feeling, providing a holistic view of students from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM – One house, all students. Job Responsibilities You will work with students who need special support. The role involves planning learning processes, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating instruction with a foundation in the curriculum. You will plan, implement, and follow up on instruction based on student needs. You will have an inclusive approach, adapting the learning environment for the benefit of all students. Using the curriculum as a starting point, you will work with children, providing opportunities to develop their abilities. You will create creativity, curiosity, and a playful, enjoyable learning environment. Qualifications - Certified Teacher for Grades F-6 - Extensive experience working with students needing special support Personal Qualities You are confident and responsible in your leadership role, creating learning conditions through structure and clarity. You are flexible in your teaching and plan for students at different levels and stages. You enjoy collaboration and are skilled at building positive relationships with children and adults.
