Welcome to us at Öxnehaga School Area Öxnehagaskolan is a K-6 school with approximately 350 students and five age-divided after-school departments. The school, with its fantastic view of Lake Vättern, is located on the heights of Huskvarna. Together, we are strong! Your new job Our class teacher for grade 1 will be on leave for studies during the spring of 2026, and we are now seeking a licensed educator for the class. There is a strong possibility that the position will be extended for the following school year 26/27 as well. At the school, we work closely in teams, and you will collaborate with several educators. Grade 1 is currently divided into three classes. Your responsibilities include: - Being responsible for the educational content of the teaching. - Independently planning, conducting, and following up on classroom instruction. - Mapping students' knowledge levels and documenting their development. - Ensuring that education is conducted according to the curriculum and other governing documents. - Collaborating with your team or teaching colleagues to improve instruction. - Developing students' abilities, knowledge, and self-confidence. - Building trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. - Contributing to a pleasant working environment at the school that promotes learning and development during the students' school day. - Mentoring for the class. Your qualifications We are looking for someone who is: - A qualified teacher with a teaching license for grades K-3. It is a plus if you have qualifications in Swedish as a second language. - Well-grounded in the mission of compulsory education and its governing documents. - Experienced in teaching and working with students is an advantage. - Proficient in the Swedish language, both spoken and written. - Possessing basic IT skills.
