Lindbladskolan is one of two lower and middle schools with attached after-school care in Skänninge. Approximately 23 staff members work at the school, and together we are responsible for around 190 students from preschool class to grade 6 for the 2025/2026 academic year. Our staff group includes teachers at the beginning of their careers and those with many years of professional experience. At Lindbladskolan, teachers work in class teams. We have newly renovated facilities and a large schoolyard that offers varied activity opportunities. Are you our new colleague? JOB RESPONSIBILITIES In your role as a teacher, you will work on planning, instruction, evaluation, and value-based work based on the curriculum. You will collaborate with various school professionals to support student learning. You will be part of a team that systematically works to develop the school. You will work towards the set goals to ensure students achieve the best possible development, both academically and socially, and actively motivate and stimulate students to reach these goals. As a teacher, you see the student's entire school day as important and therefore collaborate with guardians and colleagues regarding the student. As part of this, the school and after-school care activities collaborate to achieve higher goal attainment and create the best conditions for each student. You will work with the student group you encounter and are expected to create varied and challenging instruction that meets the requirements of school law, curriculum, course plan, and subject plan. You should be subject-knowledgeable, guide students, plan and lead instruction, and assess knowledge development. Using digital tools is a natural part of your teaching. You will promote collegial learning through discussion and reflection at both planned and spontaneous moments. To support student learning and the development of yourself and the organization, you will leverage the experiences and knowledge of different professionals. QUALIFICATIONS You have a primary school teacher's degree with a focus on preschool to grades 1-3 and teaching certification. You represent good ethics and sound values. You advocate for equal opportunities within the organization and society at large. You can speak clearly, exude credibility and confidence, and have the ability to give presentations, lectures, and training, adapting them to the target group's needs and feedback. You can plan and organize your work. You are goal-oriented, able to follow up and complete activities. You can carefully analyze and assess different types of data to draw well-considered conclusions and create effective solutions. You can adapt to changing conditions and encourage and support change initiatives. You can easily adjust your behavior to others' needs.
