Children and Education Administration works on behalf of the Preschool Board and Primary School Board. The administration is responsible for preschool activities, school-age childcare, primary school, and adapted primary school. Segeltorpsskolan is a grade 4-9 school with approximately 680 students in Northern Huddinge. Our administrative area also includes Långsjöskolan and Skansbergsskolan, two F-3 units. Job Description
We are seeking an engaged teacher for a full-time temporary position during the spring semester of 2026. You will teach mathematics and social studies within the same intermediate school grade. You will analyze teaching strategies and develop and adapt instruction based on student learning to increase goal achievement. In your interactions with students, you will continuously develop yourself and your role as a teacher. In your classroom, all students will have the opportunity to succeed and demonstrate their knowledge in many different ways. Beyond pedagogical work, you will build relationships with colleagues and contribute to the school's development.

The position includes:
• Planning, implementing, and following up on instruction according to the curriculum
• Assessing student knowledge and development
• Being a mentor for a group of students and contributing to their social and academic development
Qualifications
Education
• Teaching degree focused on intermediate school, preferably with a specialization in mathematics and social studies
• Certified teacher
• Good knowledge of school governance documents, especially:
• LGR22 (curriculum for primary school)
Experience
• Previous experience teaching in primary school, particularly at the intermediate level
• Experience as a mentor and working with students' social and academic development
• Experienced in planning, implementing, and following up on instruction according to the curriculum
• Experience in assessment and documentation of student knowledge development
Meritorious Requirements
• Further education in pedagogy, special education, or subject specialization
• Knowledge of NPF (neuropsychiatric functional disorders)
• Technical competence:
• Proficient with digital tools such as Google for Education and Office suite
• Experience with digital learning platforms and documentation systems
You are flexible, have good collaboration skills, and can easily create positive relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You are a positive and engaged person driven by contributing to students' development and well-being.
