All of our employees play a crucial role in this implementation. About Segeltorpsskolan Segeltorpsskolan is a 4-9 grade school with approximately 680 students in Northern Huddinge. Our principal's area also includes Långsjöskolan and Skansbergsskolan, which are two F-3 units. Job Description We are seeking an engaged teacher for a full-time temporary position for the spring and autumn semesters of 2026. You will teach mathematics, science, and Swedish within the same grade level in the intermediate school. You will analyze teaching strategies and develop and adapt instruction based on student learning to increase goal achievement. In your interactions with students, you will continuously develop yourself and your role as a teacher. In your classroom, all students will have the opportunity to succeed and demonstrate their knowledge in many different ways. In addition to pedagogical work, you will build relationships with your colleagues and contribute to the school's development. At Segeltorpsskolan, we have a pronounced team approach. You are never alone with challenges and questions. We help each other plan work in work and subject teams. There is great openness between teachers, and we share a collective responsibility for our students. You will plan crafts together with our other crafts teachers at the school. The position includes: • Planning, implementing, and following up instruction according to the curriculum • Assessing students' knowledge and development • Being a mentor for a group of students and contributing to their social and academic development Qualifications Education • Teaching degree focused on intermediate school, preferably with a specialization in mathematics, science, and Swedish • Certified teacher • Good knowledge of school governance documents, especially: • LGR22 (curriculum for primary school) Experience • Previous experience teaching in primary school, particularly at the intermediate level • Experience as a mentor and working with students' social and academic development • Familiar with planning, implementing, and following up instruction according to the curriculum • Experience in assessing and documenting student knowledge development Meritorious Requirements • Further education in pedagogy, special education, or subject specialization • Knowledge of NPF (neuropsychiatric functional disorders) • Technical competence: • Proficiency with digital tools such as Google for Education and Office suite • Experience with digital learning platforms and documentation systems You are flexible, have good collaboration skills, and can easily create positive relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.
