The Children and Education Administration works on behalf of the Preschool Board and Primary School Board. The administration is responsible for preschool activities, school-age childcare, primary school, and adapted primary school. About the School
Balingsnässkolan is a two-parallel F-9 school, including an adapted primary school for grades 7-9. The school consists of approximately 600 students and around 80 skilled and experienced staff members focused on developing students' full potential. The adapted primary school has 22 students from grades 7-9, who study in three different groups. Currently, 4 teachers and 4 (leisure time) assistants work in the adapted primary school. Balingsnässkolan is located in a scenic townhouse and villa area in central Huddinge. The school has a large sports hall, a large schoolyard, practical-aesthetic rooms, and its own cooking kitchen.
Balingsnässkolan is organized into grade-level teams, called home bases, where the pedagogues in the team are responsible and work together with all students in the grade. All classrooms are equipped with SmartBoards. Students also have access to digital tools. Your Duties
We are seeking an engaged teacher for grades 7-9 for a permanent position with 60% employment. You will be responsible for the entire teaching process in the adapted primary school together with other teachers. You will primarily teach students in subjects, but teaching within subject areas also occurs. You understand the importance of teaching being creative and stimulating while being based on research and proven methods. You plan, organize, and implement teaching individually and together with your colleagues. You are flexible and have good collaboration skills and a willingness to work with other staff to help students reach their full potential. Together with others, you create a classroom environment characterized by safety, trust, and respect.
Teachers in the adapted primary school are part of a team where you plan, teach, mentor, and document based on the curriculum together with your colleagues. You will collaborate closely with colleagues on teaching and planning activities.
You will be a mentor to some students and responsible for regular contact and close cooperation with guardians.

Qualifications
Requirements:
• You are a certified primary school teacher
• You are well-versed in the adapted primary school curriculum
• You have a good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish
Meritorious:
• Several years of experience in the profession
• Knowledge of school digital tools, such as Vklass and Google Classroom
