Licensed Teacher Grades 4-6
We are looking for someone who wants to see our young students develop and grow as individuals. The position primarily involves teaching science subjects, with less emphasis on mathematics instruction.
If you are a qualified and licensed teacher and/or have experience teaching Swedish/Swedish as a second language, social studies, English, art, and mathematics, you are the person we are looking for. We seek someone who wants to work for us, not just with us. The school you are applying to is in a constant state of development. Our teachers are passionate about sharing their knowledge. You serve as a role model both as a knowledge provider in your subject and can motivate our students with a strong general education and upbringing.
The position involves teaching at the middle school level.
**About the Workplace**
Vasalund School is an independent primary school for grades F-9, and this fall we will have over 400 students. The school is located next to LundsbÀcks colony area in the beautiful and green Vasatorp in Helsingborg, easily accessible by car or public transportation. Collegial learning is something we hold dear and work on continuously. We enjoy working together and collaborate closely in teams, which means you are never alone. You will often work with a teaching assistant.

**Qualifications**
We are looking for you who are a licensed teacher for grades 4-6. You should have documented experience teaching the relevant grade levels.
We would like you to contribute with engagement, creativity, and a drive to develop the operations. You meet each student with respect and attentiveness. You need to have very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
As a teacher with us, you work to create a safe, enjoyable, and educational school environment. You lead and develop the pedagogical activities together with the rest of the team. You possess good leadership qualities to create favorable conditions for a good learning environment with your students. Regardless of where you are in your career, you contribute to the students' social well-being by working compensatorily. You should be able to handle challenges from students while also celebrating their successes.
As a person, you are solution-focused, unpretentious, and flexible, with good computer skills. Your working style is results- and development-oriented. Furthermore, you build sustainable relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues thanks to your strong collaborative skills. **About the Position**
