Job Responsibilities We have expanded our operations with a completely new school unit that started this August, with programs previously belonging to a independent school. The programs in this unit are Sales and Service, Hotel and Tourism, Social Science, and Business Economics. We are now seeking a teacher's assistant. Our students require support in both teaching situations and during breaks and social interactions. The assignment involves working with one or more individual students who need a supportive adult in teaching situations to help them benefit from their education, and in social situations. You will enable learning and development for students based on their individual conditions. You will follow the students throughout the school day. You will also participate in schedule-breaking activities such as outdoor days or study visits. Together with colleagues in the work team, you will develop teaching and ensure the pedagogical mission is fulfilled. You will work with students in various situations both inside and outside the classroom. You also need to be a visible, active, and supportive adult for all students during breaks, and before and immediately after class ends. Qualifications We are looking for someone with a completed teacher's assistant education or other relevant education for the assignment. You have experience working in high school and experience with relevant work with individuals with neuropsychiatric disabilities. You show respect and consideration for those you encounter in your professional role and have a low-affective approach. You start from the premise of equal value for all and create a good atmosphere in interactions, believing you can make a difference for young people in vulnerable situations. You have an open and positive attitude, with the student's needs as the starting point for your actions. You listen to other people to understand their needs. You actively seek others' viewpoints and perspectives and are receptive to them by showing respect, consideration, and care. You work to promote cohesion in the work group and see failures as opportunities to learn, creating space for dialogue. You work effectively under stress, can balance different demands, and maintain calm in difficult situations. Be brave in facing conflicts. You can quickly change your perspective and approach and see opportunities in changes. You gain energy from contributing to others' learning and create conditions for learning to occur. The work also requires good communication skills in Swedish, both verbally and in writing, and extensive experience and proficiency in working with various data systems.
