Häggetorpsskolan is a primary school with approximately 255 students from preschool to grade 6. We are now looking to strengthen our school with teaching assistants.
Häggetorpsskolan is located in the southern part of Tibro municipality. Here, we have preschool, primary school grades 1 - 6, and after-school care. At Häggetorp, we work in teams with a strong sense of community and high participation in decision-making processes. JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an engaged teaching assistant who wants to be an important part of our work with student health at the school. The role involves working closely with the school counselor and educators to create a safe and supportive environment for our students.
• Support in student health work: Collaborate with the school counselor and educators to promote students' well-being.
• Care and support: Be available for students' needs during lessons and breaks.
• Extra reading support: Responsible for reading training and language support during afternoons and leisure time.
• Administrative support: Assist educators with administrative tasks to free up time for teaching.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who has:
• Teaching assistant training
• The ability to quickly build good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians
• Experience working in a school setting
• A secure, clear, and natural leader
• Solution-focused, structured, and quality-conscious
• The ability to adapt to changing circumstances and easily adjust your behavior according to the needs of others
• Understanding of the importance of additional adjustments and the ability to meet each student based on their individual needs
