JOB DESCRIPTION We are looking for a teaching assistant for grade 1 and after-school care! Do you want to help create a safe and inspiring environment for our youngest students? We are currently seeking a teaching assistant who will work closely with students and teachers in grade 1, as well as spend some time in after-school care. As a teaching assistant, you will be an important part of the school's daily operations. Your responsibilities will include: • Creating a conducive, pleasant, and safe environment both inside and outside the classrooms. • Supporting students in exercises, individual work, and group work during lesson time and leisure time. • Managing conflicts and contributing to a positive social environment. • Building good relationships with students and colleagues. • Caring for students throughout the school day. • Supervising breaks and contributing to safety on the school grounds. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who has: • Teaching assistant training with a focus on special support • Experience working in a school setting • Practical ability to lead groups of young people • Confidence, clarity, and natural leadership in the classroom • Solution-focused, structured, and quality-conscious • Understanding of the importance of individualized adjustments and the ability to meet each student based on their individual needs • Ability to quickly establish good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians.
