About Us
ALMA Payroll & Accounting (formerly Lindahl Payroll & Accounting Consultant AB) is a small, familial agency looking for your help to grow. The agency was started in 2015, and we currently have 6 employees, including 2 payroll specialists, one of whom is an authorized payroll consultant.
We have modern offices in Librobäck, Uppsala, where we share space with other companies. Free parking is offered, and you can bring your dog to work.
We provide services in bookkeeping, payroll management, and financial consulting. Our philosophy is built on trust, development, expertise, and being our clients' natural sounding board. We strive to create long-term relationships with our clients and contribute to their success.
About the Position
As a payroll/accounting consultant, you will be responsible for supporting our clients in their payroll and financial management. The position is at least 70% with potential for expansion. You will work both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues and clients to ensure their payroll and accounting are handled correctly and efficiently.
Your tasks will include:
• Payroll management
• Reporting to authorities
• Interpretation of collective agreements
• Wage debt calculations
• Setup and controls in various payroll systems
• Reports and consultations to companies regarding wages
• Ongoing bookkeeping and reconciliations
• VAT and tax reporting
• Preparation of tax returns and financial reports
• Financial advisory to clients
• Annual financial statements (meritorious but not required)
• Income tax returns (meritorious but not required)
Who Are We Looking For?
To succeed in the role, we prefer candidates with:
• 2-year payroll education
• Experience as a payroll consultant
• Good knowledge of various payroll systems
• An analytical and solution-oriented approach
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments simultaneously
• Some knowledge of bookkeeping, VAT, and annual closing
• Experience as an accounting consultant is meritorious
