Payroll Administrator - Tranås Municipality Are you a service-oriented and solution-focused professional who wants to work with the entire payroll process? Our colleague is retiring this summer, and we are now seeking a new team member. The HR Department at Tranås Municipality is a support function for the municipality's managers and employees. Our department works across different roles: HR Manager, Payroll Support, HR, and Administrator. The Payroll Support team consists of 4 employees. We collaborate across our professional areas to leverage each other's competencies and achieve the best possible results. In total, we have 14 employees in the department. We offer you a close and supportive collaboration in a work group with strong team cohesion and high expertise, as well as a varied job with a focus on development. RESPONSIBILITIES As a payroll administrator, you have a significant role in ensuring quality throughout the payroll process. In addition to managing payroll from hiring to termination, you will actively contribute to digitalizing routines, processes, and creating manuals for personnel administration. The position also includes other payroll and system-related tasks such as system administration in HR Systems, collaborating with IT to manage the system, reporting, and contacts with various authorities like the Swedish Social Insurance Agency. You will have extensive interaction with both managers and employees in Tranås. QUALIFICATIONS We are seeking candidates with post-secondary education that the employer considers relevant for the position. You should be experienced in interpreting laws and agreements in the field. The role requires strong digital skills and a significant interest in system management and digital systems. Excellent Swedish communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.
