About us Capio Healthcare Center Tomelilla - we offer a medical clinic, a social worker, nurse-led clinics for Asthma/COPD, hypertension, and diabetes, district nurse services, elder care, laboratory testing, and targeted health conversations. We are a smaller and well-functioning healthcare center in Österlen, where Capio Midwifery and Capio Child Health Center are located in close proximity at the Family Center. In our daily work, medical secretaries and receptionists provide essential support. With the Rehabilitation House in Tomelilla, we have a subcontractor agreement that allows us to offer patients an urgent appointment directly with a physiotherapist/occupational therapist via our appointment system. Development is important! Capio continuously works on developing new ways of working. We strive to offer patients interdisciplinary assessments based on their needs and actively work to utilize everyone's competencies fully, holding daily rounds to discuss cases. For the past couple of years, we have been using TIK (speech recognition), and this autumn we will launch the AI tool Tandem, which will further facilitate administrative tasks – including journals, referrals, and sick notes – making work smooth and efficient. Our healthcare center has maintained 100% telephone accessibility for several years, and we use digital chat with our patients through Flow.
