**Job Responsibilities**
As a general practitioner with us, your responsibilities will involve patients of all ages. You will work both individually and as part of a team. You will be involved in ongoing improvement projects at the healthcare center. Internal training for staff and colleagues is seen as a natural part of the role. Together with our other specialists, you are needed to welcome training doctors in the important work of meeting the future's healthcare needs.

**About the Workplace**
The 11 region-operated healthcare centers and the Healthcare Centers' Emergency Reception in Västmanland are run as an intrapreneurship with a professional board and Region Västmanland as the owner. We have a common name, Närvården Västmanland, and we work together to provide our patients with the best primary care in the region. We continuously invest in the development of our workplaces to meet the future of primary healthcare.
Närvården Hallstahammar-Kolbäck is a well-established healthcare center centrally located in Hallstahammar, with a branch in Kolbäck that is open three days a week. The healthcare center is close to bus and train stations, making commuting easier. There are also free parking spaces directly adjacent to the healthcare center if you prefer to drive.
We are responsible for over 12,400 registered patients, and our unit includes consultations with doctors, district nurses, registered nurses, nursing assistants, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, dietitians, psychologists, as well as maternal and child health care. Since all professional categories are gathered in the same building, it makes us a knowledgeable and flexible unit.

**Qualifications**
We are looking for a general practitioner, preferably with a few years of experience. You must be proficient in the Swedish language, both spoken and written, and ideally have experience with the Cosmic journal system that we use in our daily work.
You are eager to develop and, like us, dare to think innovatively and see opportunities in changes. Maintaining your specialist knowledge is a given for you. Collaboration is important to you, and you are happy to share your knowledge with others in the team. To succeed in this role, we believe you possess the following personal qualities: maturity, teamwork ability, flexibility, and strong communication skills.
Being able to sit in the break room and talk and laugh with your colleagues is just as important as being focused and professional in your interactions with patients.
**Employment Conditions**
The position is a permanent full-time employment with a start date to be agreed upon.
