About this role

Description When we ask our staff what characterizes Studium, they emphasize the special Studium atmosphere; here diversity, collegiate warmth, and a great commitment to teaching and pedagogical development prevail! We possess deep and broad expertise. As a teacher, you work with responsible freedom in dedicated teams with opportunities for cross-border collaborations and development, as part of something larger and important. Teaching is conducted in both Swedish for Immigrants (sfi) and various projects, always with the student's best interests in focus. At Studium, we provide education for students from around the world. We proudly carry out our operations with the conviction that we play an important role in society, and we unite around a common goal: for the student to progress and advance in both language development and inclusion. In the team, we are strengthened by our collective competence, diverse backgrounds, and a language and knowledge-developing approach. Our work is characterized by collaboration, mutual understanding, and collegial learning. We are located at Nedre Kaserngården in Kviberg. Work Tasks Your work tasks will consist of: * Planning, implementation, and follow-up of teaching and other pedagogical work within the operation * Documentation and verification of results and quality based on both school steering documents and current agreements * Administrative tasks relevant to the position Qualifications We are looking for someone who has a teaching license and is qualified to teach Swedish as a Second Language at the basic level in adult education. Current experience in adult education is meritorious. You have excellent digital competence and administrative ability and thrive in an occasionally high-paced work environment. You demonstrate great flexibility and ability to individualize instruction and working methods, and have an inclusive teaching approach. You are a person who sees opportunities and is accustomed to taking initiative and personal responsibility. You also work well in groups and see the benefits of working together as a team towards common goals. You have a solution-focused approach and are process-oriented. You are skilled at motivational work and drawing out people's potential. Showing respect and consideration for those you encounter in your professional role is a matter of course for you. You start from the premise of equal value for all and create a good atmosphere in interactions. With an open and positive attitude, you have the students' and the organization's needs as the starting point for your actions. Additional Information For your interview, you need to bring your passport/national ID and possibly proof of residence permit if you have citizenship outside the EU/EEA. This is to ensure your identity and verify your right to work in Sweden. For positions with educational requirements, those who proceed in the recruitment process will be asked to submit documentation verifying your education, such as teaching license or diploma. You can also attach these directly to your application. About Us Our vision is for Gothenburg to be an internationally leading educational and knowledge city.
