Quality Technician for a Reputable Industrial Company in Landskrona

ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for a meticulous and committed Quality Technician to join a reputable industrial company in Landskrona. This position is a consultancy role as a replacement for long-term absence, with excellent possibilities for extension. As a Quality Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting incoming components and the company's own manufactured mechanical products based on drawing specifications and tolerances. Inspections will be conducted using both manual measuring tools (such as calipers and micrometers) and machinery such as coordinate measuring machines (CMM) and optical measuring systems. In this role, you will work closely with production, engineering, and procurement, and since the company operates internationally, communication will occur in both Swedish and English. JOB DESCRIPTION • Inspect incoming goods and self-produced parts, primarily in steel • Conduct manual and machine measurements • Perform technical documentation and prepare deviation reports as needed • Make minor adjustments for deviations, such as deburring or polishing of components • Calibrate measuring tools • Participate in quality and improvement projects as necessary YOUR QUALIFICATIONS • Experience in reading and understanding manufacturing drawings • Experience in using measuring tools • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word) • Relevant high school education or equivalent • Good command of Swedish and English, both spoken and written PREFERABLE • Experience from the manufacturing industry (measuring/machining, etc.) • Experience with coordinate measuring machines (CMM) • Familiarity with reporting in business systems, preferably Infor, LN, or ERP • Experience in quality improvement projects YOUR PROFILE To succeed and thrive in this role, we believe you: Are precise, structured, and have a genuine interest in quality and details.
