The Position As a quality technician at Benzlers, you will support and drive work related to quality, deviation management, measurement, and internal audits. You will support the QHSE Manager in work within our quality and environmental management system. You will be a key person in our quality work, ensuring that the company's products maintain the highest quality standards and ensure compliance with relevant quality rules and procedures. You will drive work on customer complaints, communication with customers/sales/suppliers, and ensure they are investigated and improvements are initiated. You will support colleagues in purchasing, production, engineering, and sales, and contribute to achieving the best quality of our products. Main Responsibilities • Develop and implement quality control procedures and methods • Perform inspections and tests of products and materials during the production process as needed and perform measurement of sample outcomes • Collaborate with production personnel, engineering, and purchasing to solve quality problems and improve processes • Be proactive in documenting and reporting quality deviations internally/externally with root cause investigations using quality tools like 5 Whys or similar, and in preparing documentation of reports to suppliers and customers • Conduct internal audits according to plan regarding ISO9001:2015 (Trained Internal Auditor) • Responsible for calibrating and storing measurement tools/equipment in a protected environment • Understand drawing requirements, standards, form, and position requirements • Perform measurements on products according to drawing requirements, hand measuring tools, surface and hardness measurements, measuring machine for future purchases • Drive quality meetings where deviations are reported Your Profile You are committed, structured, and driven, with a great interest in quality and technology. You have technical education and several years of experience in quality work within the manufacturing industry. Experience in mechanical transmission or similar industry is highly meritorious. Competency Requirements • Technical education 2-4 years • Experience in quality work/Measurement technician, minimum 3 years in manufacturing industry • Fluent language skills in speaking and writing in Swedish and English • Knowledge of drawing reading, form and position • Office 365 Word, Excel, PowerPoint • Internal Auditor ISO9001:2015 • Knowledge of quality tools such as 5 Whys, fishbone diagram • Knowledge of calibration • Knowledge and execution of measuring tools and simple measuring machines • Class B driver's license Benzlers headquarters are located in fresh, modern facilities in Helsingborg, with free parking.
