The central administrative office is located in the heart of Varberg, conveniently within walking distance of the train station. Here we work closely with the operations and play a crucial role in ensuring equivalence and quality in the administration's processes. The administration's office is a support function focused on the needs of the operations, with the purpose of contributing to equitable education for children and students in Varberg Municipality.
In our pursuit of creating the best possible learning environment, we are seeking a Quality Strategist/Business Developer to ensure joint administrative work for increased quality and equivalence.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the leadership of the Quality and Development Manager, you will play a key role in management, governance, and follow-up for the entire administration. You will support management in monitoring goal and financial management by preparing documentation and analyses, and providing improvement proposals.
Together with colleagues with similar assignments and in close collaboration with principals, you will work on monitoring and analyzing the operations' processes, results, and quality. You will have primary responsibility for generating statistics and conducting quantitative analyses in systematic quality work, which is the foundation of an increasingly data-driven organization.
You will become an important part of the administration's office where your work will be both challenging and varied. Tasks and assignments will continuously change depending on operational needs and national and local governance. You will also have a responsibility to support the administration's work in improving overall processes and support to operations, for example by developing effective working methods, routines, and digital solutions.
The assignment includes preparing and presenting decision-making documents for your immediate supervisor, management group, and political committee.
Examples of tasks that may be included in the assignment, in addition to the above, are:
- Regulatory tasks such as supporting operations with complaints and inspections. Supervision of independent preschools, follow-up of school attendance, etc.
- Planning and follow-up of work with national goals, regulatory changes, and state grants.
- Investigation assignments in various subject matters based on needs.
- System management/key user of decision support and operational systems.
- Support to colleagues at the office in varying assignments and needs.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are seeking someone with a social science degree or equivalent. You have experience with investigation and improvement work.
It is meritorious to have worked in public administration and with a political committee. Experience with, or good familiarity with, preschool and school is also meritorious.
