We have an open position in a key function within our quality work. **Your New Job** In your role as Quality Coordinator in the Education Department, you will coordinate the quality efforts of different educational formats and contribute to the development of systematic quality work throughout the organization. Compilation and reporting to the political committees are part of the responsibilities. You are expected to contribute to effective processes for governance and management within the Education Department, taking a coordinating role when developing governing documents such as the operational plan and the annual report. Furthermore, you will be responsible for certain investigations and participate in responding to various consultations within the school sector. The department's work with planning and follow-up is conducted using the operational support system Stratsys. The role also includes being the system manager for Stratsys. The position pertains to all operations within the Education Department: preschool, primary school, upper secondary school, adult education, labor market department, and cultural school. You will collaborate with educational managers and quality developers across different school formats. Contacts with statisticians and researchers are also part of the daily work. School principals are another group of staff you will interact with. Some contact points also exist with other departments in Jönköping Municipality. As a Quality Coordinator, you will have significant opportunities to influence the organization's management and how systematic quality work is structured. To succeed in this role, you need to have a clear focus on development while also keeping a managerial perspective and being able to work systematically over time, as the work follows an annual cycle. To implement changes in governance and quality work requires persistence and the ability to foster engagement within the organization. In areas related to investigations, knowledge of investigation methodology and the ability to present results in a pedagogical manner are essential. **Welcome to Us** The position is a permanent employment and is placed in the Coordination and Quality unit. This unit, consisting of 11 team members, serves as a support function for the various operations of the Education Department. Most employees in the unit have specialist expertise, such as in investigations, statistics, committee administration, sustainability work, and safety and emergency preparedness. This results in a broad range of competencies within the immediate workgroup, allowing each employee to pursue their tasks independently while also fostering a strong spirit of collaboration where we support each other in various ways. The focus may have been on quality work, investigative work, or other governance and management processes, but you should have several years of experience in one or more of these areas. You hold a relevant academic degree. Experience within the school sector is an advantage but not a requirement. As a person, you are self-sufficient and structured. You have well-developed linguistic analytical skills. You enjoy working from a strategic perspective and are motivated by handling complex issues from a holistic viewpoint.
