Quality Assurance Engineer

About the Role: As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be a vital part of a cross-functional and Nordic development team. Here, you will work together on modernizing and further developing the organization’s IT platforms. You will be responsible for ensuring quality throughout the delivery flow and will play a central role in everything from early requirements discussions to release and follow-up. You will drive how testing is planned and executed, contribute to a more quality-conscious workflow, and work both practically and strategically to improve testing methodologies, processes, and automation. Your Responsibilities: • Ensure quality throughout the development chain • Design and execute manual and automated tests • Develop and enhance test strategies, processes, and routines • Conduct and improve API testing using tools like Postman • Work with integration testing, SQL, and test data • Identify and analyze defects, discrepancies, and areas for improvement • Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and business specialists in the Nordics • Contribute to more efficient release flows and increased test automation We believe you have: • Several years of experience in testing within system development • Experience in both manual testing and test automation • Experience in API testing and tools such as Postman/Swagger • Basic knowledge of SQL and preferably C#/.NET • Experience with automation frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright It’s a plus if you also have: • Experience working in banking/finance or other regulated industries • Experience with CI/CD and testing in pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps or Jenkins) • Interest in test management, process development, or quality at the organizational level As a person, we see you as: • Structured, analytical, and detail-oriented • Enjoying collaboration with others and sharing knowledge • Taking initiative and driving improvement work forward • Seeing the big picture and balancing pace with quality • Proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
