Your Responsibilities
As a construction teacher, you will plan, implement, and evaluate the training based on the agreement with the Employment Agency. Together with other construction teachers, you will be responsible for the training in Katrineholm. Several colleagues, including management and other construction teachers, will be available remotely.
In your role as the APL (workplace-based learning) coordinator, you will be responsible for the participants' internships that take place at local companies. This includes finding suitable APL placements for our participants and serving as the main contact person for both the participants and the companies. You will also visit participants at their APL sites and document their development during the internship.
With a responsible and positive approach, you will coach future construction workers in various professions. The work will take place both on-site at the educational institution and through visits to participants at their APL locations. A key part of your role will be to network within the industry, establish contacts, and promote our training. The education will combine both theoretical and practical elements.
Your Profile
We welcome applicants with strong construction knowledge, preferably in road and civil engineering, and good pedagogical skills. A requirement is that you hold a vocational certificate in Road and Civil Engineering or have documented extensive work experience in civil engineering.
