State Institutions Board (SiS) is a government agency responsible for individually tailored compulsory care for youth with complex psychosocial problems and adults with substance abuse. SiS also carries out closed youth care. We do this at youth homes and treatment centers for adults with addiction, throughout the country. At SiS, your work life becomes an exciting challenge. The Quality Manager position is a newly created role at our institutions across Sweden. It is part of strengthening the agency's ability to work uniformly, legally securely, and efficiently, and you will become an important part of SiS's new organization. Job Description As Quality Manager, you have overall responsibility for the systematic quality and improvement work at the institution, which includes self-assessments and improvement work based on identified deficiencies in care, treatment, and healthcare. You are responsible for implementing and following up methods and approaches in care, treatment, and healthcare. You will also develop and, if needed, initiate collaboration with other care providers. You are responsible for local complaint management. You lead the institution's treatment organization, supported by a team of employees including psychologists, nurses, and treatment secretaries. You report directly to the institution's chief and sit on the management team. On-call management may be part of the position. Qualifications To succeed as Quality Manager, you have a holistic view and good ability to consider the organization's best interests in your actions and decisions. You are good at working towards goals and focusing on results. You collaborate well with others and are attentive in communication. You should also have: • Academic degree in social and behavioral sciences or other relevant education • Several years of experience working in social services, care, and treatment or equivalent • Documented current management experience with operational, budget, and personnel responsibility • Class B driver's license At SiS, we value good leadership. Employment: This is a permanent full-time position, starting with a six-month probationary period. Start date by agreement.
