Quality is a crucial factor for our continued success, and we are therefore seeking an experienced and committed QUALITY MANAGER who wants to lead the development of our quality work in a group-wide role. As Quality Manager, you are prepared to act proactively and make quality a cornerstone of our organization. At GARO, you will have strategic and operational responsibility for optimizing our quality management system and creating a culture where quality is a matter of course.
About the Role
As Quality Manager, you will lead and develop a team while driving development work in close collaboration with the entire organization. You will become a key person with the mission to reduce errors, complaints, and deviations, and to ensure that we meet the high standards set by customers and the industry. You are responsible for developing and optimizing our quality management system and ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and IATF 16949. You will lead internal and external audits, systematically drive improvement work, and establish clear quality goals and KPIs. You actively work with root cause analyses and implement effective corrective and preventive actions. The role also involves developing and coaching the quality organization, creating quality engagement throughout the company, and serving as the company's representative for quality issues with customers and suppliers. You ensure robust process controls and work with methods such as SPC, PCP, and FMEA.
Who Are You?
We are seeking an experienced leader with the ability to combine strategic thinking with operational agility. You have at least eight to ten years of experience in quality, including at least five years in a leadership position within the manufacturing industry. You have documented experience in turning around a quality function or significantly improving quality results and in-depth knowledge of quality standards and methods such as PPAP, FMEA, SPC, Six Sigma, and 5S. You are fluent in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing, and have strong communication skills.
As a person, you are analytical, solution-oriented, and enjoy driving change in a complex environment. You like working closely with the business and creating results together with others. We achieve success through teamwork, customer focus, and a dose of common sense.
