About the Position
As Quality Manager, you will lead the efforts to ensure that the company maintains a high standard and quality at all levels. You will be a key person in the organization responsible for systematic quality work and for developing processes and routines in this area.
This is a recruitment, meaning you will be employed directly by the client company.
You will be part of the company's European quality network, where you will regularly collaborate and share experiences with colleagues from other units. The role includes personnel responsibility for about ten employees, both staff and collective bargaining employees, and you will be part of the local management team.
As Quality Manager, you are expected to be a clear and committed leader who motivates and develops your employees. You drive the work forward with both structure and determination and have the ability to make well-founded decisions even in complex situations.
Examples of Responsibilities
• Lead and drive systematic quality work
• Develop and ensure the control function for the company's products
• Be responsible for and drive investigations of internal and external complaints
• Initiate and implement improvement projects
• Be responsible for the quality plan in collaboration with the regional quality network
Your Profile
We are looking for someone with a university engineering degree, for example in mechanical engineering, production, industrial economics, or equivalent. Alternatively, you have equivalent skills gained through extensive experience. You have previously worked with quality issues and preferably have leadership experience within the manufacturing industry.
As a person, you are structured, determined, and communicative. You thrive on taking responsibility, making decisions, and driving development alongside your team. You have a coaching leadership style based on clarity, participation, and engagement. You work according to standards, have an eye for detail, and a strong drive to develop the business.
Since the organization is international, you need to be comfortable communicating in English, both verbally and in writing.
You will report to the company's Production Manager and be part of the local management team. The position is located in the Småland highlands, and travel to other production units in Europe may occur.
