Octapharma is a biotechnology pharmaceutical company with large-scale manufacturing in northwestern Kungsholmen - with a vision to improve people's health and lives.
As a Qualification Engineer, you will belong to and help develop the newly established Qualification section. This section is part of the Engineering department, which is a crucial part of Octapharma as it is the company's main competence for technical solutions and supports production with ongoing problem-solving. The section is responsible for technical qualification of equipment, systems, and utilities (media), (IQ/OQ/PQ media).
As a qualification engineer, you will have an important role with us. Your responsibilities will include:
• Participating in or leading projects and activities as a qualification/QPL leader and/or qualification executor
• Participating in the development of standards/instructions and templates for the qualification process within the area of responsibility
• Contributing to the preparation of documentation for authorities
• Participating in inspections
• Contributing to improvement work and optimization of processes and working methods within the section
Who are you?
The right candidate for this role has:
• Multiple years of experience in qualification management within the area of responsibility (technical IQOQ including process functionality, control systems, and PQ media)
• College/university education with a technical orientation (e.g., chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, biotechnology)
• Experience working according to GMP
• Experience in the process industry is a merit
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing

About Qualification within Technical Unit
• Technical Unit is organized into departments of Engineering, Maintenance, Facility & Utilities, Automation & Metrology, with the Qualification section being part of Engineering
• Technical Unit is responsible for ensuring the production facility, buildings, and other equipment are in place and functioning
• The function is crucial for the operation to function sustainably
• We continuously invest in the site, which involves modernization and expansion
• Qualification currently consists of 6 positions, and you will report to the section manager
