The Support and Governance Department works on effective internal support and good internal governance and control. We develop our operations for a sustainable society. Legal issues, process support, economics, business management, personnel matters, skills supply, IT issues, internal service, procurement, and premises management are part of this department.
The Legal Unit is responsible for providing the agency with legal support, participating in the agency's referral management. The unit is also responsible for the agency's archive and registry activities.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The lawyer we are seeking will work on preparing the agency's referral responses and provide support to the organization on legal matters, including school law and general administrative law. As the legal questions cover a broad spectrum, you will also encounter other legal areas. Non-legal investigations may also occur.
Tasks include answering questions from various agency departments, conducting legal investigations, and providing training.
Since the agency has offices nationwide, work-related travel may be necessary.
Your workplace will be either at the agency's main office in Härnösand or in Solna.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who has:
· Law degree
· Several years of experience working as a lawyer in a government agency and being accustomed to explaining legal matters comprehensibly to non-lawyers in daily work
· Excellent ability to express yourself verbally in Swedish or Swedish Sign Language, and in writing in Swedish
· Experience with school law
· Ability to independently manage projects and/or cases
It is meritorious if you have:
· Experience writing referral responses
· Practical experience in healthcare law and children's rights
· Practical experience related to disability policy

We want you to have a good work-life balance. Therefore, you have the opportunity to work partially remotely, if the operation allows and in consultation with your manager.
A 6-month probationary period will be applied.
