About this role
We are seeking you who want to work as a qualified case officer at the Education Office in Södertälje Municipality, focusing on children's and students' right to an equivalent education. A position where you can make a real difference.
Your Responsibilities
As a qualified case officer, you have a central role in ensuring legally secure public administration within the education sector. You will work with case management primarily related to preschool and after-school centers, but also other school forms regulated by the Education Act. You are responsible for processing applications, investigating, making decisions, and communicating with guardians, schools, and other relevant actors.
You will collaborate closely with other case officers, staff in the administrative team, and department managers at the Education Office. You will contribute to developing administrative processes and routines, ensuring they are legally secure, efficient, and clear. You will also participate in coordination assignments related to regulatory updates, complaints and appeals, reporting to the committee, as well as documentation and follow-up.

Requirements:
- Post-secondary education relevant to the position, such as in public administration, law, or social sciences.
- Experience with public administration, preferably within the education sector in public operations.
- Excellent ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish.
- Good digital competence and familiarity with administrative systems.
- Ability to work systematically, independently, and in a coordinating manner.
Meriting:
- Experience working in municipal education administration.
- Experience with process development and quality work.
- Experience conducting training or workshops.
- Knowledge of education legislation and other relevant regulations.

The Education Office has approximately 3,500 employees and is responsible for operations in preschool, primary school, high school, and adult education. The position is located in the Uk Administration unit, which works with support processes for the entire office. This is a full-time position based at the Education Office in Södertälje.
