The Social Administration (SCF) is led by a director and is divided into four departments: SCF Staff, Child and Youth Authority, Child and Youth Interventions, and Adult Services. The Social Administration in Uppsala is transitioning to the new Social Services Act and is focusing on high quality. The emphasis is on social work where both investigation and follow-up are seen as a process and an opportunity to work for change. One of the department's primary focuses is to promote children's and families' participation and increase network involvement. As support in the quality work, Targeted Support currently consists of seven committed case managers, two team leaders, four coordinators, and one unit manager. The Resource Team, which is part of Targeted Support, has among other tasks the mission to spread competence and provide relief to other units. With us, a varied and educational workday awaits. Job Description You will be part of a team with other experienced case managers and contribute with security, competence, and commitment in an important role for children's best interests. The Resource Team's main task is to enhance competence and provide relief to investigation and placement units. You will work closely with case managers in various units, taking a coaching role. The assignment offers great variation and many challenges, but also an opportunity to conduct good social work. You are expected to be at the forefront of good treatment, participation, and focusing on the child's best interests. Your task is to spread Signs of Safety as an approach and find alternative solutions to placements by involving networks. The role includes independent and efficient management of investigations and placements according to SoL and LVU. Other common assignments include holding network meetings, working with home returns, and creating safety plans. Within the scope of the assignment, there is also an opportunity to conduct internal training and workshops. Work in the form of on-call duty occurs, where you are expected to be able to work outside office hours one evening per week. Qualifications We are seeking someone with a social work degree and several years of experience working as a social worker in child and youth services. The work requires a B driver's license. We prefer candidates with Signs of Safety basic training and who are well-versed in the Signs of Safety approach. Experience with Signs of Safety safety planning is also considered meritorious. As a person, you are secure and stable, with a good understanding of yourself and how you function. A prerequisite for success in the role is being flexible, solution-focused, and quickly able to familiarize yourself with new assignments. You need good ability to build relationships and collaborate with others. Furthermore, you plan and organize your work efficiently and take responsibility for your tasks. The job suits someone who remains calm and collected in various situations and can focus on the right things.
