About this role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced economist for a part-time assignment with our public client, involving comprehensive accounting work with elements of financial analysis. Welcome to apply today! Job Responsibilities: The assignment includes year-end financial statements, budgeting, follow-ups, key performance indicator work, and other economic analyses. You will be part of a team including another economist. The assignment includes the following tasks: • Budget work • Financial follow-ups, forecasts, and analyses • Annual and interim financial statements • Key performance indicator work • Economic investigations • Technical office development work • Support for managers and employees Who Are You? We prefer someone motivated by delving into details while also having the ability to see the bigger picture. A strong analytical ability is important, and in collaboration with others, you should be curious, solution-oriented, and without ego. The assignment requires you to be meticulous, structured, and flexible to meet organizational needs. As a consultant, you should inspire trust and possess strong communication skills. It is crucial to easily collaborate with others and build good relationships. We value someone who shares their knowledge, helping managers and employees understand economic processes. You meet the following requirements: • Higher education in economics (accounting), or work experience equivalent as assessed by the client. Educational credentials must be presented. • Relevant professional experience as an accounting economist from the past three years • Good understanding of advanced economic work. You should be able to independently perform the assignment's tasks. • Very good computer skills with excellent proficiency in Office 365, especially Excel. You should quickly familiarize yourself with systems and processes. • Very good Swedish language skills, both verbal and written. Advantageous for the assignment is experience in a politically governed organization and experience with Raindance. We Offer: A consultant assignment of approximately 60% - around 3 days/week. The assignment is expected to start February 2, 2026, and is estimated to continue until November 13, 2026. The assignment may be extended if needed. You will be employed by Jurek Talents AB and hired out to our client, working on-site in Sandviken.
