Department of Landscape Architecture, Planning and Management
We are seeking two course administrators, working 50-100% full-time, to provide teaching support and administration within undergraduate education at the Department of Landscape Architecture, Planning and Management.
A course administrator position can offer an opportunity to combine work with studies in the final stage of your education or serve as a springboard into professional life after graduation. The work provides in-depth knowledge of the courses you are involved in, practical work experience in academia, and pedagogical experience. The work can be combined with your thesis work, for example.
About the Job
Work tasks include course administration for various courses at the department, assisting in teaching activities, and serving as a support for students and course management. You will closely collaborate with different course leaders and function as a link between students and teaching teams.
Your Background
Eligible for employment are students who have recently graduated or are in the final stages of their education at the Faculty of Landscape Architecture, Horticulture and Crop Production Sciences.
Requirements for the position:
• Communication and collaboration skills, independence, organizational ability, commitment, and pedagogical curiosity
• Knowledge of landscape architecture methods for analysis, design, communication, and visual representation, both analog and digital
• Excellent Swedish and English skills, verbal and written
Meritorious are:
• Completion of courses TN0330 Applied Design, LK0401/LK0412 Climate Change, or LK0435 Studio 3
• Good knowledge of ligneous plants
• Good design knowledge
• Proficiency in digital tools AutoCAD and Adobe
• Interest in cultural heritage issues
