Currently, we are particularly seeking someone who speaks Kurdish (Sorani), as we have several customers with Kurdish backgrounds who would appreciate support in their native language. Language skills beyond Swedish are therefore meritorious.
Work Tasks - What Will You Do?
You will work to provide customers with the assistance they are entitled to according to support decisions and individual implementation plans. Examples of work tasks:
• Personal Hygiene – assistance with shower, toilet visits, and other personal care.
• Meal Support – help with preparation, serving, and feeding when needed.
• Supervision and Companionship – create safety and contribute to the customer's social context.
• Dressing and Undressing – practical support during clothing changes.
• Home Support – such as laundry and other daily chores.
• Safety Alarm – quickly respond to acute customer needs. We work on behalf of Österåker Municipality and are responsible for both standard home care tasks and handling safety alarms between 07:00 and 22:30. This means a varied assignment with both planned and more urgent interventions.
Who Are You?
To fit with us, we see that you have the following qualities and qualifications:
• Nursing Assistant Education – you are trained and experienced in your field. (Meritorious)
• Fluent in Swedish – you master Swedish both verbally and in writing and can document professionally. (Requirement)
• Fluent in Kurdish (Sorani) – you master Kurdish both verbally and in writing. (Requirement)
• Class B Driver's License – you are a confident driver and familiar with navigating traffic. (Requirement)
• Stress-Resistant and Responsible – you handle pressured situations with calm and determination.
• Independent – you enjoy working independently but are also a team player when needed.
• Empathetic and Attentive – you have a genuine desire to help and understand that each customer has their own needs and wishes.
• Communicative – you find it easy to communicate and collaborate with both customers and colleagues.

Service and Work Arrangement:
Service: Monday – Sunday. For this position, we offer hourly employment. Working hours: 07:00 – 15:30 or 15:30 – 22:30. Workplace: You will be based at our office in Österåker/Åkersberga, and we believe you live nearby to facilitate your commute.
