Do you want to help develop the future of habilitation? Adult Habilitation offers support to adults, their close ones, and their network. Based on needs, we collaborate with other healthcare, municipal, and societal actors. Together, we contribute to a positive development for the patient in the form of: - Best possible function and activity - Physical and mental well-being - Participation in social life and equal living conditions Here, you'll find driven and committed colleagues. We have a systematic work environment approach and place great emphasis on introduction and mentorship for new employees. We also conduct structured development work focusing on evidence-based interventions both individually and in groups, as well as an expanded range of e-services. As a health-promoting workplace, we offer joint fitness activities and a dedicated fitness hour. Your Workplace At Adult Habilitation, in addition to social workers, we also have psychologists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and speech therapists. Discussions about shared professional and habilitation-relevant issues are constantly ongoing within and across professional boundaries. We place great importance on staying updated on current research in the field of habilitation. Adult Habilitation's target groups are individuals with autism spectrum disorders, intellectual disabilities, mobility impairments, and acquired brain injuries. Our patients have one or more of these challenges. The goal of all interventions in our operation is to optimize the opportunity for individuals with a permanent functional impairment to live as independently as possible, based on their own conditions. Your Responsibilities As a social worker, you are a crucial competence in the patient's team and work with assessment and treatment of adults with functional impairments. You will be part of a team primarily working with individuals with autism and/or intellectual disabilities. Our interventions are directed both to individuals in the target group and to their relatives, representatives, and staff. We collaborate both within and outside the organization, which makes your cooperation skills particularly important. You need to be able to work independently but also contribute actively to teamwork, as tasks vary depending on patient needs. We also appreciate if you have a strong interest in development work, as we are in an intensive phase of change – both within our own organization and in the field of habilitation. Your Knowledge and Competencies We are looking for someone who has: - A degree in social work - Ability to adapt to changing conditions and maintain composure even when work is intense or unpredictable - Ease in collaborating with others. You communicate clearly and contribute to an open and respectful work climate - Understanding of how your contribution affects the whole and act with the organization's best interests in mind - A work approach characterized by good planning, structure, and ability to prioritize even in complex situations - A curious and solution-oriented approach where you gladly contribute ideas and development suggestions It is meritorious if you have experience with habilitation and/or work with our target groups: individuals with autism spectrum disorders, intellectual disabilities, mobility impairments, or acquired brain injuries. We look forward to learning more about you and how you can contribute to our team. Here, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference for people with functional impairments, every day. Together, we are developing the future of habilitation! [The rest of the text about Region Värmland and additional information has been omitted for brevity, but can be translated if needed.]
