We are seeking a School Counselor As a school counselor at Realgymnasiet, you will work as part of the student health team in accordance with the Education Act. You will work closely with teachers and the student health team to contribute to the best learning conditions for our students. You will meet with students, guardians, and staff, offering professional expertise through conversations, support contacts, counseling, and guidance in the psychosocial area. You will drive student health work together with your colleagues, from a broad perspective based on the current educational offerings at the school. The work also involves collaboration with other educational staff to contribute to student goal achievement. Student health meetings are a crucial model in our promoting and preventive work with student groups. Realgymnasiet in Örebro offers studies in the Nature and Environmental Program, specializing in Animal Care, Horse Management, and Nature Tourism. We have 24 employees and 150 students. The school started in Örebro in 2025, and Realgymnasiet is currently present in 23 locations in Sweden. The position is a permanent 50-60% role. Qualifications To be considered for the position, we are looking for: • A relevant education in fields such as social psychology, social work, behavioral science, or social pedagogy at the university level. • Previous experience as a school counselor at the high school level. It is meritorious if you have training and experience in cognitive behavioral therapy. Likewise, experience in building collaborations with external municipal agencies is advantageous.
