Our Operations
Psychosis Clinic B operates for individuals over 18 years old. The clinic has a special mandate for specialized psychiatric assessment, treatment, care, and rehabilitation for patients with schizophrenia or schizophrenia-like conditions. All patients are assigned a responsible physician and a case manager. The clinic's approach is based on the National Board of Health and Welfare's Guidelines for Care and Support for Schizophrenia and Schizophrenia-like Conditions, with the aim of enabling patients to live as independently as possible with support and assistance. Patients at the clinic are offered services such as IMR (Illness Management and Recovery), interventions according to the psychiatric rehabilitation care program, social skills training, VOSS (Care and Support Coordination), and health-promoting measures.
The work is team-based. Each team consists of psychologists, specialist physicians, specialist psychiatric nurses, nurses, psychiatric assistants, occupational therapists, and social workers. We collaborate with other healthcare providers in municipalities and county councils and also offer support to family members.
Your Assignment
As a social worker with us, you will work on psychosocial assessments and individually tailored counseling treatments. You will collaborate closely with colleagues from other professions to ensure a comprehensive care process. A crucial part of the position is providing support and guidance to patients and their relatives, both through individual support sessions and family support groups. You will also actively collaborate with municipalities, social services, and other healthcare providers to create the best possible conditions for patients. Here, you will also have the opportunity to contribute to the organization's development by participating in continuous improvement work.
Your Qualifications and Competence
We are seeking candidates with a social work degree, and we prefer licensed healthcare social workers. Previous experience in psychiatric care, particularly in the psychosis area, and knowledge and experience in family support are meritorious. As a person, you are committed, flexible, and easy to collaborate with. You have the ability to work independently and are attentive to the needs and situations of both patients and their families. We place great importance on personal suitability.
We Offer
We offer a stimulating work environment where you become part of a competent and engaged team. We will customize your introduction based on your previous experience and competence and offer excellent opportunities for continuous skills development. You will receive regular supervision and access to employee benefits such as wellness contributions.
