About this role

Our Team of Counselors in 24/7 Care is Growing - We're Expanding with Another Colleague! Stockholm Center for Eating Disorders (SCÄ) is one of the world's largest specialist clinics for patients with eating disorders, accepting patients of all ages. We have a well-developed operation with digital care, outpatient care, intensive outpatient care, day care, 24/7 care, and national highly specialized care for adults, children, and youth. Today, we have nearly 280 employees and have expanded significantly in recent years. Our outpatient and day care facilities are located in Södermalm, and our 24/7 care is at Danderyds Hospital. National Highly Specialized 24/7 Care for Children and Youth has 5 beds out of the department's total 12 beds for patients up to 18 years old. The department can receive children and youth with or without guardians. The NHV's approach is to individualize treatment plans and consider other mental health issues in addition to focusing on the eating disorder. Professionals working in the care unit include nurses, nursing assistants, physiotherapists, doctors, dietitians, and psychologists. You will work with the team to develop a good patient relationship based on trust and collaboration. Job Responsibilities: As a counselor, you will primarily work in our children and youth department, but also in our two other departments for adults and young adults. You are responsible for collaboration with outpatient care and may receive visits as needed. The work includes investigation, assessment, crisis support, counseling, and psychosocial support for patients with severe eating disorders. As a counselor, you have knowledge of mapping social networks, understanding available community assistance, and guiding patients in contact with authorities. Employment Terms: Permanent Position Full-time 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday, daytime Qualifications: We are seeking a trained social worker with previous experience working with eating disorder patients. Step 2 and/or supervisor training is considered meritorious, as is knowledge of FBT, CBT-E, DBT/RO-DBT, MANTRA, and/or SSCM.
