About this role
Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Clinic is tasked with assessing, investigating, and treating children and young people aged 0-17 with moderate to severe mental health issues. The BUP clinic in Bollnäs serves Southern Hälsingland. The clinic in Bollnäs has staff with broad expertise and great commitment. As a social worker, you will also have a special assignment as an investigation contact person. This means you will be responsible for NPF investigations and collaborate with other actors.
We are now seeking a social worker who wants to contribute to high-quality neuropsychiatric investigations and work in the assessment stage to ensure patients receive the right care at the right time.
DUTIES
• As a social worker, you will work with:
• Psychiatric assessments, planned and acute
• Psychiatric investigations
• Collaboration with healthcare partners and other authorities
• Telephone counseling
• Care planning with the team, patient, and guardians
• Treatments
• Group activities for parents, children, and teenagers

QUALIFICATIONS

In the role of social worker, you should:
• Be trained as a social worker, behavioral scientist, or equivalent, qualifying you to work in a counseling role in child and adolescent psychiatry
• Communicate fluently in Swedish, both verbally and in writing
Experience in psychiatry and/or working with children and youth is advantageous. Having completed Step 1 in CBT training is also a plus.
