The student health team primarily works preventively and health-promoting to create environments that support students' learning, development, and health.
You will collaborate with other professionals at the school and within the student health team, working preventively and health-promoting at the individual, group, and organizational levels. You provide support to school staff in student matters from a social perspective and maintain an inclusive approach towards our students. You assist students with social issues, either individually or in groups. You serve as a liaison between students, guardians, and school staff, and view collaboration with social services, child and adolescent psychiatry, habilitation, and other external providers and authorities as essential. You are involved and proactive in the school's values and crisis management work, as well as in creating and working with safety teams.

About You
You hold a degree in social work/behavioral sciences or another equivalent qualification at the university level. You must be able to build trust, provide support, identify opportunities, and offer advice. Knowledge about youth, their development, and their situation in society, as well as knowledge in behavioral and social sciences, social legislation, and social treatment work, is essential. Familiarity with the legislation governing school operations and confidentiality laws is also important. Experience as a school counselor and knowledge of conversation methodology are advantageous.
As a person, you are secure, stable, and self-aware, which includes distinguishing between the private and the professional and seeing relationships in their proper perspective. You collaborate well with others but also have the ability to work independently. You enjoy working with youth and find it easy to cooperate with others, listening, communicating, and resolving conflicts constructively. A flexible approach is crucial as the work often needs to be adapted to the current situation.
You possess excellent communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written, and can tailor your message to the audience's needs. You empathize with others' perspectives and situations.
